FAQs for Applicants

  • Each Applicant will need to clearly describe their need, describe steps they are actively taking to address the need, and describe how they plan to walk along side of Colorado Helping Hub to continue giving a good-faith effort to addressing the need.

    Sometimes a need comes through that doesn’t meet our program criteria, and we’ll need to deny that request. While we never want to say “No”, we do have to follow a set of guidelines. We will make every effort to help point the Applicant to other resources in these situations.

  • Go ahead and tell us what your need is. If we can help, we will certainly try. And if not, then we’ll do our best to connect you with someone who can help.

FAQs for Donors

  • Yes! We need skillsets (donations of time) every bit as much as we need financial support!

  • The most common gift cards we distribute are gift cards to grocery stores, gas stations, Amazon, and common convenience stores where a Recipient can purchase gas and/or food (such as 7-Eleven, Circle K, or Loaf ‘N Jug).
